Job Description
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
Distribute furniture and accurately process necessary paperwork when customers pick-up their purchased furniture from the loading dock.
Use forklift to retrieve merchandise from warehouse racks.
Assemble furniture.
Constantly and consistently keep the pick-up area clean and neat.
Assist Warehouse Manager with any odd jobs that need to be performed.
Work Requirements:
Need to be organized.
Ability to understand delivery processes and procedures.
Regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
Frequently required to stand and sit.
Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Routinely works from an upright standing position.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Must be able to work somewhat independently.
Be able to get the job done efficiently and accurately.
